In 2025, there were 4,700 Operation Christmas Child (OCC) drop-off locations across the United States. Round Hill Baptist Church (RHBC) serves as Samaritan Purse’s drop-off location for King George County. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers who generously assisted in receiving, crating, praying over, and delivering 811 shoeboxes to the central drop-off in 2025.
The Fredericksburg Area collected a remarkable 12,946 physical shoeboxes. Globally, a staggering 12,205,900 shoeboxes were donated. Notably, 10,906,661 shoeboxes were meticulously built and donated from the United States. Each shoebox represents an incredible opportunity for a child to receive the profound message of Jesus Christ and a tangible expression of love. In 2025, RHBC made a significant contribution by donating 256 shoebox opportunities.
Ephesians 2:10 reads: For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Let us thank God for opportunities to serve and worship Him.
Operation Christmas Child Boxes are available any time of the year just by asking. Pack it, pray over it and remember to turn it in by November 15, 2026 or sooner.
Packing your box:
The key element in any packed shoebox is to pray over each box for each child.
Wow items, such as stuffed animals, soccer balls & pumps, etc are always a good item to pack along with various necessities like school supplies and personal items like socks and underwear. For more detailed information just click here!
You may also donate $10 to help cover the transportation costs and booklets that are packed in the shoeboxes to help share the gospel of Jesus and train gospel teachers.
