Frequently Asked Questions
ALL IN Stewardship Campaign

Why is this called a stewardship campaign and not a capital campaign?

This is an invitation all members at Round Hill Baptist Church to be invested and involved in the Gospel mission of making disciples. For our church to make disciples we must be good stewards of the money and time the Lord has given us. So we are doing more than raising money, we are equipping our brothers and sisters in Christ to partner together so that Jesus’ greatness may be known in our area and unbelievers may be transformed as disciples of Jesus. This campaign is more than about money.

But you are trying to raise money, right?

Yes. We are asking the Lord to give our members a generous and worshipful attitude so we can pay off the mortgage and begin investing in future Gospel methods so our church can continue to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) for decades to come. Our goal is for our church members to pledge $600,000 over the next three years.

How much do you owe on your mortgage?

As of March 31, 2025 we still owe $504,001.62. We’ve had many faithful members since 2007 give over a million dollars to our building fund to pay on our loan. Part of the goal of this stewardship campaign is to invite current members to join with previous faithful members in paying off the loan of this building that the Lord has used to lead people in our community to Him.

How do you plan to use the rest of the $600,000?

After we pay off the mortgage, we would like to hire an architect to give us a plan of renovation for our entire building so each year we can renovate our building to meet our present and future disciple-making and worship needs. We would also like to use some of this money to prepare us to hire another pastor so that he can equip us to make more disciples and possibly plant more churches in our area.
